Default I made it, I now own a Landrover Discovery

It feels good to finally own a Landrover.
Mine is a 95 and I love it.
Now, all I need to do is convert it to LHD.

Yeah, I need to do that to be able to drive in the country where it will call home.
But, I am in search of another one to use drive in the UK, I dont mind the age, as long as its diesel and has aircon, I will buy it.
Ok, Hi everyone.

Keep it RHD. RHD get extra points on the cool scale. The last trail ride I was on there was a RHD diesel Defender that was off the chart cool, even in the company of other Defenders.

Dude, please please leave it RHD. If you are hellbent on having a LHD one, I will trade you my 2001 DII (LHD) once I get it back on the road.

Default Hi every one

Iam in Bedfordshire a green area 30 miles north of London.(England)
My Landrover is a 7 seat, 2 door version, manual gear box, drives well, very good engine tdi 2.5.
I want to convert it to LHD, I will be getting one which I will keep here.
I would love to swap it for a 2001 DII like someone suggested here, but, I would wonder why somone would do that though.
Anyway. all Im looking for at this stage is someone with a LHD steering box and perhaps a LHD dash board for sale, I have pay_pal.

Haha, I didin't realize you were in the UK. A RHD would ba a gem here in the United States. there is a website you can check. You might be able to get someone to ship internationally. It is http://car-part.com

Check landroversalvage.com there are located in Ontario,Canada and as their name suggest, they specialize in salvaged Rover parts. I'm sure they'll have what you're looking for.

Congrats on the purchase.

Sorry to burst everybodies bubble but you CANNOT import ANY car from ANY other country into the US unless it is 20 years old or more. (Canada and Mexico are the exceptions)
So if you are looking to bring a 1995 Disco from the UK into the US...cant be done, it will sit at customs until 2015.
