Default i wanna biuld a roof rack DIY

anyone got rough plans on how to build a Safety Device replica?

i have some 120 ft of 3/4 inch galv. tube lying around and a welder to do it with.

i am making my own right now. it is just a flat one thats not rally like a SD but i could probly post some pics of what i got so far if you want

If you make a rack from 3/4" galvanized pipe it's going to be heavy as hell. Sch40 pipe is too thick.

I'd use structural tubing of some sort. 1" DOM probably.

or use aluminum tubing to keep it really light, but you'd need to be good at tig welding.
