Hi All,
Just joined the forum.
Anyone know what the 4 x sets of audio switches do in the rear of car. Not picked car up yet so haven't had a chance to investigate. My dealer tells me each passenger can listen to a different entertainment source through the main ICE. Any truth in this?
Thanks

The back has a set up that allows the passengers to plug in headphones and listen to Tape, CD or AM/FM Radio. If they want to listen to the same thing the front is listening to then they do not have any control over it. But if they are listening to another part of the system then they can change the station or track. Its thats confusing here is an example:
If the front is listening to the radio and the rear wants to listen to the radio as well, they can plug in head phones and listen to the same station as the front, they cant change it. BUT if the front is listening to a CD then the rear can have total control over the radio. And the rear can listen to separate things, one can listen to Radio, one can listen to CD. The front has primary control, the rear has secondary.
Its kind of hard to explain but I hope that helps a little bit, maybe it just confused you more! Once you look at it you will understand, it pretty simple as far as I can tell, usually I am driving so I dont get much use out of them!
It sounds like the dealer is right in this case.
