ignition coil
I have a 2003 discovery.last week it would start and then cut off in les than minute.
Garage said it was a crank sensor. This week it started and then it sputters and hesitates when you put it into drive and the service engine soon light flashes nd then it stayed on. I barely made it to the shop.
They say it's the ignition coil.
They replaced the engine not even a month ago and every since it has been one thing after the other.
I want to know if the ignition coil could cause the problem with it not accelerating properly and the service engine soon light to come on

You need a new shop that is not into guessing what's wrong.
If the coils are bad, you will get misfire and coil failure faults, is your check engine light on, if so what are the fault code numbers?
If it is the crank sensor, you may or may not get a fault if it is failing.
Call me and lets talk about your truck.
