Default ignition coil fuse blowing

Problem is with an 01 Disco II with 53,300 miles. Stopped by the coffee shop and when I came out it turned over fine as normal but no start. Got towed home by a buddy and found out that the ignition coil fuse blew. Problem is when it was replaced, it blew again. Im going to check the coil now. Grounding issue of some sort maybe? Any suggestions appreciated.

Just out of curiosity, have you tried to reset the inerita switch?

Look on the firewall, passanger side, it is a large black switch, push it and reset it, then try a new fuse.

Reset the inertia switch and disconnected both coil packs and its still blowing. Glad I got the big pack of fuses.

You have to have some sort of a ground or short problem, I don't even know where to tell you to look.

Well good news for now at least. I pulled the underdash fusebox and disconnected the ignition harness as well as some of the others so I could get a good look up in there. Put it all back together and she started right up. I also pulled one of the ground wires off by the battery and retightened it. Not sure what did it but something worked. Hopefully its permanent but well see.

ETA: Even though its fixed, it still cost me money. I'm tiling my bathroom and had the toilet sitting my garage. My bracket fell off my worklight, I bent over to pick it up, bumped the crapper and...yep. Broken toilet all over the garage. Oh well, needed a new one anyway and a running Disco is worth a new john I guess.
