Couldn't stay away! I had previously owned two Discovery's back to back: a 2001 SE and 2004 SE. After moving for the SF Bay Area to North Carolina, I tragically wrapped my 2004 around a tree in an ice storm in Jan 2013 and that was it.

I took a break from Land Rovers and split my time between a Ford Ranger and a great, classic '65 Volvo 1800S. But, I've had the Land Rover itch ever since. After a couple months of looking from Wilmington to Hickory, Spartanburg, Greenville and Charlotte, I finally found a solid buy in Asheville last weekend. Came home with a 2004 Discovery HSE with 92,000 miles. Some service records. Engine looks and sounds great. Interior and exterior was spotless.

As my wife remarked, order has been restored to my world! I've passed the Ranger along to my son and the '65 Volvo 1800 is still my weekend vehicle.

I've found this forum to be extremely helpful over the last 14 years and am excited to have a reason to be apart of this again!
