hahahaha well as much as seattle is a ultra PC area, those who will hug a tree or freak out over some crap are the ones who jump into their H3 hummers and peel out. hahhaha

i am a middle of the road guy politically. but when it comes to the whole global warming thing, it will not keep me from my toys. besides the truck is a work rig. i routinely carry several thousand lbs of material in the bed. so at least i can say that my truck is used as a truck and not a $3.80 per gallon diesel coffee getter.

i figure between the 14mpg the diesel gets. the 13 the LR gets. the 29 the ducati gets and the 16 the ferrari gets i am doing my part to **** off a good number of seattle eco whackos. mwhahahhahahahahahahahaha

even if global warming is real, the media scam is was over blown, and theres no effective soulution, besides us all living in straw huts. im a libritarian, but usally end up supporting republicans for that reason.

i just bought a kimber 1911 and a S&W 642 for carry a few weeks back. my buddies thought it was because of the dems, but honestly i know its political suicide to go after americans gun rights. so honestly that was not on my mind when i bought them. it was more, "i want these now!" hahahah

"If" you have 16" wheels, but have thelonger lockstops fitted then you can change them and reduce your turning circle by up to 54 inches, as Land Rover in thier wisdom fitted the longer lockstops (designed for 18" wheels) to a lot of models that comefrom thefactory with 16" wheels,

First you need to measure the lockstops you have now, if they are 23mm in length, your stuffed, but if they are 29mm, you can change them for the 23mm stops and your turning circle will improve loads.

Here is the location of thelockstops...

AH HA!!! My 03 Disco comes stock with 16 inch wheels and I "THINK" my stops are longer than the one in your pic. So "If" mine IS longer....where do I get the shorter ones? Or can i just grind them down to 23mm???

THANKS Urban Panzer

Part numbers for lockstops :- "If" you need shorter ones.........
23mm FTC 5151
You can if needed put washers behind it to make it the size YOU want, so if you need 25 mm for example, to still give more clearance as all vehicles will be different, you can add 2 x 1mm thick washers.
Part number for the 1mm washers WDL112081L

So 23mm stop is the shortest I can have before ruining steering components?
