Default inline mod help needed

Hello All,
Ok, there have been dozens of pics posted of top of different setups for the thermo mod. Each custom to its owner. The running info has been to use a "BMW" bottom hose after removing the OEM thermo. However, a clear view of this hose mounted hasn't been posted, to my recollection. I've seen pictures of the hose, and I guess I'm missing how it will interface, especially with the hose coming down from the fill tank. A good set of pictures and a part number would be greatly appreciated. I have accumulated all the parts I need for my swap over except the bottom hose.

TIA, eddie

Write to Extinct. He has a full kit that he sells, with instructions, for a decent price. You don't need any different hoses.

The bottom hose gets attached to the top hose of the thermostat, the thermostat is removed the hose that comes from the block gets cut back and thermostat installed modulating the flow to top of rad

You want to use “Gates 22073” for bottom hose it’s a direct fit not the BMW, but if you are going with the kit I guess he has all the correct parts lined up already.

The kit is a thermostat and instructions. There's no need to get different hoses at all.

Send me your email in a PM and I will send you the info. No new hoses needed. Only the thermostat kit, super easy to do. Uses factory hoses and clamps.
