Installed my new front drive shaft today

I did pick up a 2 gallon container of the 85W140 but the weather wasn't very cooperative so I didn't get to it. But I did get 2 qts of Valvoline Synthetic DOT 4 and did the brake flush. What a difference! I thought they were fine before but now it feels like new! Definitely worth doing. The old brake fluid came out looking like oil.

I was hoping you were going to say that. When I first read your post, I was imagining clean motor oil, and thinking, all of the times I've flushed brakes, as soon as the dark fluid is out, the new fluid looks like clean motor oil... surely I'm missing something!

I flushed it until the fluid coming out of the bleeder looked like the new fluid I was putting in. All I know is, it's definitely better!
