installing new alternator
The tensioner pulley takes care of that for ya.
Plus 1 on the belt tensioner.

BPUtah is where I got my alternator. Best price I found for a new one, not a reman version. I went ahead and replaced the belt while I was at it. That part sucked. The belt was harder to replace than the altenator.
I ordered mine off amazon it was a brand new Bosch and it was so much cheaper than anywhere else with prime I ordered a second one to keep on hand. My 04 came with a rebuilt one in it so I'm assuming it will need replaced sooner than later.
Plus the one amazon had listed was actually 150A(I'm guessing for the range rover) as opposed to the 130A.

Hi,
Alternator is easy.
Get the belt off of it.
Take off the wires.
Pop out the alternator.
You may want to compress the press spacers to get it back onto the truck.
The belt is self tensioned via the tensioner.
Just make sure you use your cell phone to get pictures of the alternator, wires and belt routing.
And
remove the negative lead from the battery FIRST.
This MUST be done.
