Instrument cluster light bulb replacement and issue withfront dome light
ok I got the front headlights swapped out and gonna get the little drl lights swapped first thing in the morning. I am having an issue with my front dome light. It works with the doors are open and you lock and unlock the doors but when you manually turn it on, it doesn't. I've tried 3 other dome lights and all the same issue. Any advice? On the instrument cluster part, what size bulbs does it take and how many, gonna swap to led and needed the info since I had to pick up a few more to start with. Thanks in advance

There is a ground at the light.
i can't remember if it's one of the mounting nuts or a wire. But I suspect it's that.
edit: just remembered. If it's the front dome there is a wire with black elecrical connector that connects to the chasis of the light.

it is the front dome and I'll pull it and check. Like I said the other functions of the lights work perfectly except the manual on part of the light

It may sound crazy since they turn on with the doors but if it's an LED light, did you try reinserting it 180 degrees to reverse the polarity?
I swapped my lights to LEDs (except instrument cluster, that's next) and found that they didn't light up due to inserting them incorrectly because of the LED polarity.
