Default intake question

ok the line running off the brake booster to the intake, how important is the fitting? its completely out. can i just use some sealant to hold it in for now? im having to move in two days and i dont want to have to pay for a tow truck. i have to drive it 30 mi away. witch would save me 90 bucks. i ended up ordering the wrong one, also does anyone have the correct part number for it?

I don't know if you can just buy the red connection, I think you can. Other then that I am not sure how you will hook into the manifold and not loose vacuum.

I've seen more glued in with silicone than I have seen with the port still intact. I think too many shops don't know how to disconnect the vacuum line and end up breaking the port. You'll probably be fine.

Oh. With it completely removed I doubt it. Most just have the red part broken. The part I posted is correct for a discovery.

Ha ha I did the same thing, I even called AB and Lucky 8.. I felt like an idiot when Justin said pull out the center piece and throw it away it holds in the connector together.
Thanks again Justin by the way.
