Default interior alarm sensors

Sort of an odd question- I have the headliner out of the truck right now, and I'm in the process of overhauling both sunroof assemblies. I have the interior alarm sensors sort of back to where they were, ziptied into place while the interior panels are out. My question is, I'd like to let this thing sit for a bit with the sunroofs open to dry out- if I unplug these sensors, can I still lock the truck without it going haywire?

I am aware of the pointlessness of locking a truck with the roof open.

Well, to update, for anyone who searches on this in the future- nothing happens. The truck doesn't randomly burst into flames, nor does the alarm go off uncontrollably.

Now to divert the sunroof drains to the coolant bottle, so the water leaking past the worthless sunroof seals can go right into the cooling system to replace the leaking coolant. Not sure why LR didn't just finish this step when the designed this pile....

This is a really good idea.. lmao

Seriously.. Instead of opening the hood and bleeding the system every other day.. just pour coolant on your sunroofs.. that would put the fill point very very high.. lol.

Oh, I dunno...

I might be willing to let someone keep what they steal, assuming they have to crawl back out the window due to a superlocked door.
