Default Interior dome lights do not work

Where would I start looking to see why my dome lights do not work? They do not come on with the doors or when you manually turn them on.

Check the over head switch and make sure it is in the correct position, then check the fuse.

Seems like a silly question when I ask it, but, did you check the bulbs? They may be bad. Get some new bulbs and then try it.

I believe when mine go out, I'll replace them with LED bulbs. May even do it before they burn out.

I checked the position, actually tried it in all positions. I have seen people list several fuses, and the ones I checked seemed fine but not sure I checked the right ones and had trouble finding that specific one in the rave. Seems Savannah has put something on before but can't find that post now.

Default bulbs

Believe it or not, I did not check that because I didn't think about them all being burned out. I have no interior lights when you open the doors (other than dash lights.)

All the basic stuff has been mentioned (switch, bulbs, and fuse.)

If still no luck, then have you checked the connector(s)? Do you have or have had the notorious sunroof broken-drain/leak? A shot in the dark here, but could that possibly rust or damage the connectors/harness plugs?

Default sunroof

No sunroof leak, mine doesn't have a sunroof. I'm thinking the fuse is most likely, just got to find the right fuse.

Sorry for jacking your thread here but mine is the opposite my center and rear dome lights will not turn off so i removed the bulbs? Open a door dome lights should come on close the door they should turn off after a few seconds, mine will stay on and drain battery? And my front will do the same except the manual switch will turn it off so i have control of the front.

Unscrew both sunvisors (driver and passenger) and inspect the wire to see if it is frayed. Overtime the wire gets pinched from swinging back and forth and nicks the insulation jacket exposing the conductor. The bare conductor then shorts against the metal screws that hold the sunvisor up. Don't ask me how I know this.

Default Interior Dome Lights Not Working / Low Voltage

Hello all, been on the hunt to figure out why my interior dome lights are not working. I feel like I have tried everything, but certainly not.

I've checked the fuse, looks good. I have tried to check wires (every where) in the footwells where I think there could have been corrosion but nothing I can see.

I checked the voltage of the front interior dome lights and I am getting 0.02 volts (I think). Should that be 12v? If I am showing low volts, what could this be caused by?

Thank you for your time!
