I've been looking for an SRD 500070 for years and still haven't found one :/

The swap he did that got me interested is the BMW M50.

It is worth the search. This was my ‘00 with a CDL but no updated SLABS:

This is in the ‘04 Alveston with the CDL on:

The SRD500070 is reputed to be the Holy Grail of SLABS, but the other SLABS part number from the '04s is SRD000150.

That's what I have in my truck, and I challenge anyone on this forum to present documentation about why the 500070 is better than the 000150.

I know that the brake mapping is different between the SRD500070 and the SRD000150. If I swapped them in my 2003 I would get a brake error chime with one but not the other, and the ABS would activate under slightly different circumstances.
I haven't checked to see what is in my 2004 yet. Maybe I'll be lucky and end up with two of the 500070's.

Mine is also a 150, taken from an early 2004. I haven’t had any issues with it.

It looks like that Land Rover is working alright. I saw your build thread and can tell you're into this Discovery thing. You should try a Discovery 1. With a little work, you can get a lot more compliance, especially more than from those radius arms in the rear.

Yeah, I have developed a very irrational and masochistic addiction to them. I’ve debated a D1 as a more hard core trail rig, but I already have a very heavily modified Jeep for that and unless something happens to it, I probably wouldn’t go that route.

But that gets to the point of what I was saying originally that if I spent a decent bit of cash on either a D1 or D2, it would be on par with the Jeep- and be more unique and cool in many ways. But, I kinda like the Jeep and it has a lot of sentimental value, so I’m in no hurry to get rid of it.

I watched that video (I’m always scouring YouTube for more Disco content) and had a few takeaways:
1) Everyone keeps claiming that the LC is more reliable than in the next breath they talked about how much money they spent on it, presumably to keep it so.
2) So apparently a stock D2 on street tires can do everything a lifted, built LC on mud terrains can do.
