Jonesing for my Disco…
I watched that video (I’m always scouring YouTube for more Disco content) and had a few takeaways:
1) Everyone keeps claiming that the LC is more reliable than in the next breath they talked about how much money they spent on it, presumably to keep it so.
2) So apparently a stock D2 on street tires can do everything a lifted, built LC on mud terrains can do.

I’d add that the D2 is more practical as well.
I have a transfer case shifter and linkage from an '04 DII for sale. PM if interested.
The reality is Toyota's are not as perfect as people say they are and LR's are not as bad. If you cruise any 80's series forum you will see they have their issues for sure. My biggest problem with the 80's series is the crappy Camry interiors.
