I did aircraft communications and navigation system in the air force. Pretty much anything that transmits or receives a radio signal I worked on. We had lots of fun messing with crew chiefs. A directed radar beam will heat up keys in someone's pocket about 100 yards away.

 

haha YES. Next thing you know we are going to be right back to GLOBAL FREEZING!!! Actaully I was going through some of my stuff from Middle School (for some reason I kept some stuff.....) anyways, I found one of these kids newspaper things and it was all about how the next ice age "may be closer than we think". And thisdates back to 2001, a year before "global warming" started to gain hype. There are so many flaws in the theory, I wont jump on the wagon until there is real proof (and no, real proof is not Al Gore narrations and "figures".).

 

When I was a kid playing outside in the snow I thought that if everyone could just leave their cars running all the time it wouldnt be so cold outside.

Global warming is not a myth. Of all the people who I expected to believe it and actually care are you young guys. My 17 year old son doesnt beileve it either, I smacked him in the head.

 

I believe it's happening, but the reasons are still a bit unclear. I thinkit is a cycle for the planet, but I also think we are making itworse and more extreme. Just simple science.

 

I'll believeit when more reputable scientist say its true.
There are to many out there saying its a cycle, to many for me to be swayed just yet.

But as long as i have A/C in my disco, it can be as hot as it wants! But i do want some snow to play in.... my disco hasnt gotten a chance to play in white stuff in a while.... Bring on the snow!!

 

All I can say is that I listen to NPR everyday and they have had top scientist's from around the world who all say that this is a trend that has been make 10x worse by man and it will last for decades.
Longer if we do not change our ways.
We can expect more snow, bigger hurricanes, heavier rains, longer droughts and less food for the poor, more expensive food for the rich.

The key is to conserve.

 

There hasbeen some snow on the ground, but the rain has taken careof it.I think the lack of snow up here in the mich. isbecause I finally bought a snow blower...

 

Come over to the West Side, we have plenty of snow.
Well, had, its been raining and 40, its almost gone.

 

We've got a lot of snow here in North Dakota right now. Of course since it is North Dakota it is all blowing away.

 

Wish we could get some of that snow stuff in east Tennessee
