Default Just Finished Painting My Hurricane Wheels

Hey everyone,
I just painted my Hurricanes this weekend and I think they look good. I also changed up my roof rack lighting (I put the two from the back, to the front and just rearranged the other two to look better). Also, and more importantly yloDisco is the one who helped me through this and told me what to get, how to do it and all, great help and huge props to him.

I had mine powder coated black earlier this year. I have the same color Disco so we would look like twins. I have never got around to painting the center caps so I will get to it sometime too.

Looks good though.

Thanks everyone. It was a process seemed as though I only had one jack haha. But so worth it, I think they look amazing. MAKE SURE TO TAKE YOUR TIME.

I'm guessing you used a semigloss? I really like the finish you wound up with. Out of curiosity, how many coats did you end up putting on?

Sorry for the late reply, I had a lot of homework last night. I actually used a flat clear coat by rust oleum. I put 1 coat of etching enamel, 2 coats of black sandable primer, 2 coats of flat black wheel paint (wasn't really too flat, more semi-gloss), and finally 2 coats of the flat clear coat by rust oleum.

Your truck looks great. Do you take it 4 wheeling much?

Thank you. And I had a disco before this and I had a lift and some nice all terrain tires and I took that off roading a few times. I have been on a few dirt trails to go to some fishing holes and to the river and all, but I have not taken this one off road yet. I am planning on it this winter after I save up and get some new tires and possibly a lift.

Nice work. I'm nearby if you would like to donate your services *thumbs up*

I've never been too handy with paint, but interested in attempting to color match my hurricanes.
