Default Just learned something new after 22 years...

After 22 years of ownership, I just discovered that by pushing down on the windshield wiper control stalk the wipers run at high speed for as long as the stalk is held down. Perfect for splashing through deep puddles! Who knew...

Pretty cool feature, I found it after a couple years of ownership as well as the flick the wiper stalk down once to wipe the windshield once

One of the things I like so much about Discos are the little things you discover (see what I did there?) with them. Things like the lumbar support in the seats, HVAC diagnostic methods, stuff with the central locks and number of other little things that are kinda fun to figure out.

Little things like what you figured out are what in my opinion keep the D2 relevant.

Another fun fact: LR de-contented the facelift 03/04 SE’s - they did not have lumbar (EDIT - on the passenger seat). I think you had to go HSE in 03/04 to get it back, whereas it was relatively standard on most of the 99-02’s except base models.
