Default Just picked up a new Disco!!

Well I picked up a 2000 Disco 120,000 miles she is in great shape it looks better than my 03 some how it has less oil build leakage from the dif moter and ETC infact the rubber seals look new and the wires look new TSI I think..
So the driver side wiper doesnt work? just got it dont look loose but how hard is it to replace the wiper moter if thats it and where is it? the only other thing I see is a little sage on the roof liner no to bad.

The drivers side wiper does not work but the passenger side does? Then it is not the wiper motor.
Tighten the nut at the base of the wiper arm. Put Loc-Tite on the threads.

Yup, that simple, if the motor or more likly the transmission went out then neither side would work.

Thumbs up

Hey thanks SPIKE555 you nailed it I removed the plastice cape and moved the wiper to starting possion and got a good three turns out of it DONE..
So on to problem two The slight vibration on the stering wheel when decelerating from 50 mph? I think mabe tire needs to be balanced or maybe the front stable lizer shock what do you think?

I say u-joints, get the front driveshaft looked at ASAP! If it breaks you will be buying a new transmission.

A new tranny is $7000, having your front driveshaft rebuilt is $300.
You can shake it but that may not tell you anything.
Have a shop look at it, they may need to remove it to know for sure.
