School bus yellow only looks good on a Disco that's for sure. I think that the white/black model is the shiznit though.

 

Could it be that the third row seats were removed? Would there be some evidence left behind if that was the case? I have only take a quick glance in the back of an SE7 and that was a D1. The dealer I bought my Disco from had a 96 SE7 sitting right next to my 97 LSE but I didn't look that close because I didn't want another white vehicle and the mileage was pretty high.

 

Well According to my checks ref the chassis VIN, it was sold as a 5 seater

 

If the VIN comes up as a 5-seater then I would guess that other the owner or a body shop put on the SE7 badges not knowing what it means. Probably had body damage repaired and the wrong badges were put on during the repair.

 

Or maybe the 7 stands for the engine being a 7 cylinder[8D]

 

All the pics I have seen have a badge riveted to the side and there is a black stripe on the side of the truck( this one does not have it). You can get the vin # and call LR dealer and see if it is a special vehicle vin #. nflrvr is on to something with the SE7 badge as well. I have been by that dealership and he does get a lot of rovers but I still say check the Vin #
