kayak rack

What is everyone using for hauling kayaks? I have a Baja Rack on top, and I do not want to get to get the kayak airborne.

Just started using the foam blocks with a canoe this year. I'm quite pleased with how easy and stable it all is. Thought I'd need a rack.
But, you know, canoe, not kayak.

I built it from Surco DGM100 gutter mounts and galvanized strut channel from Home Depot.

(I use it in winter for skis)

After a lot of research and deciding on how much I wanted to spend, I decided on these Apex ATR Rack. I bought this because I read reviews that this would fit my Truck system in the bed, and I didn’t want to drill into my bed. Not to mention this is about $100 cheaper than any other aluminum bolt on rack.
