Default Key Fob not detected with Nanocom

Hello, Finally got myself a Nanocom and apparently my Fobs are not the correct versions or just dont work.
Bought 2 fobs off ebay and was assured the correct Mhz n such, But they were only 18 bucks so yah.

During programing in the Nanotech the last step fails key not detected.

Both fobs are detected with the RF test in the nanocom, Still no luck though.

2001 Disco 2

Anyone able to point me to a tried and true tested Fob source thats not $200.00 at the dealer.
Much appreciated.

Also anyone in southern NV/Las Vegas is welcome to come use the Nanocom for a few cold beers or somethin.

do your fobs have the 6 digit alpha/numeric code sticker on the chips? You need that for nanocom programming.....

This is the code im working with.
The fobs i have now are 315mhz and came with the barcode tabs on them, no stickers on the circuit board. I use the 6 digits found in the 1st barcode to attempt to program the key.
Originally I had ordered fobs that were said to be 315mhz but when tested at the key shop were 433 or 415 and would not synch, this was around a year ago , I have since bought this nanocom to do it myself.

The directions linked to program the key appear to be exactly what i have done but i will go and try again step by step to be sure.
Many thanks

I tried to program nanocom with the first and second 6 digits sets in the first row and no luck either.......I could be wrong, but I don;t think that the barcode translates into the 6 digit code that easily......even though it's posted on a few old website threads....

Plus the 433's obviously don't work with 315 receiver....

Yah, i thought it would be the numbers in the 1st row from checking the algorithms to reverse the 6 digits to the full code with the spreadsheets.
These are new 315mhz fobs. Or so they said.

Ordered a fob from another source that had been said to work somewhere i saw digging around on this forum.
We shall see how that goes.
In the mean time ima keep screwin with these and the various pdf spreadsheets for codes.

I heard somewhere to do the 6 digits after the first digit. Dunno if that's true or not.

best bet is to get an old fob with the 6 dig code sticker and reprogram the BCU w/nanocom. Easy to replace worn momentary micro buttons if needed...

or find a programmer that can use the bar codes....
