Not a good day for the Disco. In addition to a big new water leak this morning,.....I also was unable to insert the ignition key fully into the ignition tumbler,.....It would go in about 2/3 of its total length,....and stop,.....so in addition to it raining inside, I couldn't start or drive it either. Had me wondering if the overhead water leak and key problem might somehow be related. Hmmm.
Anyone experienced this? This is my 5th Disco 2 in the last 12-15 years,.....never have had this come up.

The water leak wouldn't be related.
I would try a small spray of penatrating oil.
I would Not try the old misconception of graphite.
That was used many moons ago on old and simple locks, and helped build up material on worn parts, making the lock easier to open. Modern lock cylinders are much easier to gum up with graphite, as the fine powder packs into where ever it can.
Vs penatrating oil seeping through the smallest gaps and loosening or washing out corrosion.
