Keyless entry stops working under weird circumstances...
Hey all, I have a small problem, but it seems my keyless entry system has stop working. It really confused me because it happened under kind of a weird circumstance. I walked (crutched, still have a broken foot!) out to my D2, opened the locks with the keyless entry, got into the car, and turned the ignition and NOTHING. So I opened up the hood to jump it, see that the positive wire has come off the battery (I had done some heavy duty wheeling the day before, so its likely it came off, and I hadn't driven it after going home). I reconnected the battery and had no issues with the ignition, got to work, parked and went to lock the door with the key fob and it wouldn't lock. I was extremely confused but was already running a bit late, so I just locked it with the key in the door.
My question is, did I blow a fuse or something when I reconnected the battery? When I click the button on the key fob it still lights up red, this leads me to believe the battery is still good, is this correct? I have no other keyless entry fob to test out against my current one. I looked up on the search button, and didn't see anything quite like my situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
At least the day before I got some great pictures off roading.
