Default LA Road Rage Land Rover Discovery

I am looking for the owner or company owner of a Land Rover Discovery in Los Angeles, California. This vehicle is newer model, black or dark colored and has white "Land Rover Discovery" graphics on its doors. This may be a dealer vehicle or be affiliated with an expedition/race organization.

The license plate that I got was 5YJF436. Driver was light skinned black male with braids or dreadlocks, this is related to a road rage incident.

Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Do like most people would do and go to the DMV or local police dept.

Now Im curious as to what happened... was there spit involved? seems like all the good road rage incidents start or end with a nice big ball of spit.

No spit was involved. I ride the 2-wheel, V-twin powered type of land roving vehicle.

LAPD won't take a report in this case unless there is a collision, apparently.

Western, northbound. I pulled up beside this LR at a light, then went ahead. No harm done, not riding aggressively.

1/4 mile later I hear the squealing of tires as he's riding me so close and hard he had to slam on the brakes to avoid ramming me. In the mirror I can only see his grill and headlights. I let off throttle and veer right, he goes around and then cuts me off by inches. I pull up next to him and without looking he throws the wheel over, coming into my lane within a foot of my handlebars.

At that point I fall back and stay on his 4-7 o'clock positions only and tried to get his plate number. He took a hard right on Wilshire.

I was hoping the graphics would turn out to be expedition/racing org related, but it seems likeliest it is a dealer 'loaner' car. I'm going to follow up on Monday with LA dealerships.

I'm sure someone here on this board was going to say "yeah that was ME!!!!!"

Hilarious you'd even ask that here I doubt anyone would say that they know someone who drives a black discovery in LA even if they did.

There's tons of idiots in every walk of life that have road rage. The first sign you got from the guy that he had road rage should have made you ease way off since you were on your bike. You never know how crazy people can be in this day and age. I ride my yamaha quite a bit (pictured below) and I always try to stay as far away as I can from other vehicles whenever possible.

yeah sorry we cant be more helpful, but most of us are sympathetic to your predicament as some of us also ride two wheels from time to time... but as we all know, the only people who give a damn about someone on a motorcycle are mostly other people who often find themselves on motorcycles...
