I found it easiest to tilt pass. side down and drivers up. I let it ride the passenger head rest out. as a side note. I did the job alone and it did bend at the rear roof. I epoxied a mending strip on both sides of the underbody of it, before I re installed......worked famously, no problems at all

scouring pad or steel wood or steel bush all work. not much effort needed there, it already wants to come off. soap and water and it falls right off. soap is optional. the water will not damage the fiberglass. I used a nylon scrubby brush thing.....I think it was meant for dishes
I wet it with a garden hose and it took about 15-20minutes of scrubbing then rinsed.

I suppose alcohol or acetone would aid in glue release. but I figured the glue was stuck good enough to just remove the loose stuff, if it wanted to stay on there, that was great for me. hold on forever..even better. I guess I could have made a mistake in leaving it, but have not seen one yet.
