Why do you cover up your license plate?

 

Okay cool, I’ll look into those. I guess it’s just habit. Anytime I’ve taken a picture of a car I have covered the license plate. Is that odd?

To pick up that last question, yes, I think it's odd when people cover their license plates in forum photos. Plates are visible, on the street, every day.
And I just bought a new piece like what you need (tailgate handle cover ) on ebay for 60 bucks last week for my truck. The rubber seal (new) was another 60 bucks so make sure you get that.

I see these all the time at the salvage yards. Normally 20.00 tops for a replacement. You can also mount a D1 unit onto a D2, and just plug the hole where the key goes.
