so i hear that the land rover national rally is going ot be in denver colorado this august....

i should be on pre-deployment block leave over those dates - we should get a group together and go.

translation for the non-military - the "name "portion of a call sign is the radio "handle" of the person on the radio. the number designates their position with in the unit. 6 is commanding officer, 5 is executive officer or second in command, 7 is highest enlisted or third in command, etc. therefore HOUSEHOLD -6 is the person in charge of our household. obviously in this case it is my wife. i would like to think im household - 5 but i think our dog has me beat. sad but true...

One thing to keep in mind is that Leadville is a small community and has only limited lodging so plan way in advance cause the last time the club was there, rooms dried up ASAP
