Hi Everyone,
Been cruisin around here for the last couple of days, and obviously this is the place to get answers. We just today purchased a 99 LR Discovery SD. I have a question on the 4 wheel drive. The lever is in the right bottom (4 high) position. I can put it in 4 low, by shifting to neutral first. Is there a setting for two-wheel drive? Or is it always 4 wheel? There is no manual with this vehicle. Thanks for your time. We are excited to start driving!

at least u have a transfer case, my freelander doesn't even have that, just AWD :-(

Thanks for the reply. I asked the dealer and he thought it was 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel high or 4 wheel low.
When I put the transfer lever in the "N" position I thought that would be 2 wheel. All I got was a buzzer and no ability to move. At that point I figured it was constant 4 wheel. I'll be asking a lot of questions for sure. Thanks again............................Oh as far as the 19 year old virgin.......Wear that badge with honor my friend!

thats right, i am not ashamed of it. it is funny when my friends try to get me laid and stuff. i'll go out and have fun but i'm not ready to do that yet. i might get something penecillin can't cure, or knock up the girl. also, my Bible tells me not to have sex till i'm married. ;-)
