Default Landrover Disco II V8 won't start.

I have a 2000 V8 Landrover discovery 2 auto that won’t start. Was running well but then died whilst I was driving down the road. It hasn't been able to start since then and I had to have it towed home. You can hear the starter cranking but the engine won’t turn over. I have tried to crank the engine in both Park and Neutral.

Fuel pump is new and there seems to be fuel coming to fuel line. I don’t have a pressure tester to check fuel pressure at the rail. There is spark and
I checked compression in all cylinders and they vary between 110-130.

Battery is fine and it is a full fresh tank of fuel. All fuses and relays are fine.

I also replaced the crankshaft position sensor thinking that was the problem but it still won’t start.

I have a diagnostic computer and the only error that came through was pwm signal failure from engine ecu intermittent 014 times. I’ve reset it but it still won’t turn over

Does anyone have any other suggestions before I take it to the landrover mechanic.

Swap the fuel pump relay with the washer relay next to it.

Yes i did install the crankshaft position sensor correctly. sensor then spacers then nuts. I did press the inertia switch in case that was the problem and yes I did swap the wiper relay across.

I don't have a gauge to check the fuel but pump is new and when I traced the fuel line up to engine and disconnected i was certainly covered in fuel which seemed to be under pressure.

Any other ideas?

Is the tach moving when you turn it over, or is it dead?
