Default Leaking from rear door

So I picked up the rear ladder at Atlantic British but took their advice and got the aftermarket ladder rather than the OEM one and now the back of the truck leaks around the rear door seal. I've tried moving around the latch hardware in the back to get the door to close tighter without much luck though it does have more play when latched than is reasonable as well.

Am I just better off returning the aftermarket ladder, closing up the holes and getting the OEM ladder properly installed with rivnuts? I'm strongly leaning that way right now since I've had leaking troubles since I picked up the truck and eliminating this obvious source seems like a top priority.

Anyone else heard of something like this happening?

Turns out both ladders are basically the same, I got mine from Atlantic British. I fixed the leaking by re-positioning the rear door catch so that it held the door tighter. Guess there was just too much play before.

Return the aftermarket ladder and have the OEM one. Just make sure it has a more rigid fitting. That seems to be the best choice.

Repositioning the rear door catch fixed the problem. The OEM ladder attaches the same way on top, the only real difference is one uses machine screws one uses rivnuts.
