I like it here, and I'm much more active here than on LRO. I must confess, it's all because of sloppyjoe and spike555- I just can't quit them! LOL
LRO can be entertaining, but it seems to contain less technical information than this forum. Also, it tends to be a bit more juvenile. That having been said, there is good information to be had there and there are plenty of good members there as well.
I'll continue to stick around in both places. I've found an acceptable means by which to manage the illogical thread-sorting issue here. When you first load the forum you have to go down to the bottom to change your preferences, then simply open every thread you wish to read in a new tab. You can refresh the main page periodically to get updates for activity posted to any threads without having to again change the sort order at the bottom. The easiest way to do this is to set up one of the buttons on your mouse (I use the click-wheel button) to automatically open a link in a new tab. If any of you are actually not using tabbed browsing, well, then I just don't know what to say about that! Seriously, I recommend the Firefox browser to everyone running a Windows-based machine. If you're on an Apple, enjoy Safari!
Hope this helps, and I look forward to seeing everyone here AND on LRO!

I too was on D-Web, I left here awhile ago and went over to the dark side, I got sick and tired of being called a f-ing idiot and various other names and they didnt want to listen to anything that anybody else had to say.
And if you werent a big gear head who wanted to totally mod his truck they wanted nothing to do with you.
I mostly like it here, it is my hobby, it's free and I can annoy people while sitting on the couch in my underwear.
I have XP but use Safari for the forum and AOL for everything else.
I do NOT know how to open a new tab for viewing the threads as I am PC challenged.
