LED turn signals on an 00
I want to move my turn signals to put on a rear bumper. I bought some off ebay with 4 wires, power, ground, low brightness and high brightness. The factory connector has 3 wires. I hooked them up with the high wire, they worked for 20 seconds and went out. Now when I try the signals I get the trailer light on the dash flashing but no signals. I went and bought the resistor kit. Can someone tell me how this should be wired to work? Thanks.

I would suggest to go back to original configuration first and confirm it still works that way. If some 'resetting' or battery disconnection is needed, I do not know.
As the compfuser on board that checks the draw of light bulbs considers LED lamps as almost absent load, it gets confused.
After restoring original operation, I would add the LEDs on the bumper in parallel to the existing circuit instead of replacing them for the bumper location alone.
Or, for bumper location alone, do not use LED but incandescent bulbs.

I think I used a black and a green wire to the LED's white and black wire. I just twisted it together and tested that they worked before I soldered, sealed, and shrink wrapped it all up.
The LED's were about 6 bucks from O'Reilly's and are DOT certified and 12V
