Left Rear Suspension Sags after sitting on 2000 Disco
Hey gang, my first time here so be gentle :-)
2000 Disco, randomly settles on the left (driver) side after sitting... typically overnight. But not every night. Am told it's not a bag leak.
It rights itself upon start up, and I can't predict when or if it will settle down again.
2000 Disco
165k Miles
Just replaced alternator at 165k miles
Head gaskets at 150k miles
random 3 amigos (love that ABS Modulator write up-- have tried pretty much all the fixes already... even tried used modulator... grrrr)

Who told you it's not a leak? I'm thinking that it is. Soapy water on the bag and follow the lines under the truck to the SLS pump to find the leak.
165k on original bags? if so, that rocks. Actually, 150k until the head gaskets is pretty dang good too.

"Who told me" was my ex mechanic. Or should I say "mechanic on the bubble". He said he saw the thing settle quickly, not slowly, but did not give me his rationale for why he did not think it was the air bag. I'll check with soapy water. Do I need jack it up and remove the wheel (with jack stands of course)?

OK everyone. Looks like bags should be replaced regardless. FYI the PO replaced the fronts with coils. Not sure why they left the rears as as.... Yikes now that I know I am overdue for replacing everything I just know all systems will start failing on me :-) Alex J I may take you up on that offer. Will let you know how long we can stand it as is.
