Yep, I agree, Chris, re: pick-up trucks.
Commercial van or Discovery is so much better/safer for transport. We can fold and flip the rear seats, and swing cargo door to the right, plus we have the vehicle height. No need to tie things down, when you can shove it all in and close cargo door.
Mattress point is well-taken, dusty1. I also never understand how people think that holding the mattress will help. Just tie it on correctly or rent a delivery van or pick-up truck. I've seen a fair amount of mattresses in the middle of roadways. You'd think people would learn...
