That sucks!! At least it wasnt totaled.
I see way to many people with their dogs on their laps while they try and drive, or text messaging, those people need to be shot.
Driving 40 in the fast lane on the expressway swerving all over the road trying to Twitter to a "friend" in China and when they finally do get into a accident they "just dont know how it happened, it was all so fast"
Pull them over, remove hand gun, single shot to the back of the head, no judge, no jury, just a hollow point to the backn of the skull.
Now let me tell you how I really feel...

Oh shoot I needed that! What a riot!
I tell you that Factory LR Brush bar saved the entire front of my Rover. I have the STC50022 from the factory and it really saved the front of the Rover.

Actually, I've found that calling *HP on the cell phone and reporting their tag as a drunk driver gives just as much satisfaction, especially when on a long trip and you have the pleasure of watching Officer Bob interdict the suspect.

I just watched and idiot take out a light post and a tree because her dog was in her lap with it's head out the window. Strange enough, when I pulled up beside her she either was on the cell phone when it happened or she can speed dial while crashing! Damn airbag missed the ankle-biter.

BTW, D2's are awesome! D1's are cool too (Spike likes his.) The CDL makes a big difference, but it can be added on. I drive mostly on the pavement so the D2 was the better choice for me.

Am i the only one who just had the crazy idea of writing to mythbusters and asking; just how far WILL an 8 lb lap dog go if he is in front of an airbag when it deploys?

crash!
bang!
ARF!
and.....
LANDING!

verdict 26.2 ft. with a hang time of 2.6 secs.

You should send that in! Those hand bag dogs have been riding lapgun on so many chicks laps in the past few years they'd probably run it. Part of our decision to get another Rover was that the jeep was too small for our dogs. Now they have their own space all the way back were they belong. Plus I don't want the 180lb Mastif sitting in my lap

UGH !! We have insurance but I did $4000.00 of damage to the Rover. It's at the body shop my Rover mechanic said to take it to if I didn't want 2 Rovers welded together. The shop is Merc. BMW and Rover Certified and our mechanic is a little British guy that can muscle around a Rover and is an endless wealth of Rover Knowledge so he's qualified;_) And now we wait.....This is like getting a new dirt bike and having it taken away from you the next day.
