Default lift ?

I lifted my '04 DII with 751 front and 781 rear springs. Gained about 2.5 inches all the way around. Then I added Dick Cepek Mud Terrain's 265 75 R16's. My diff housing scooched over to the right, and is out of alignment by about 1.5-2inches with the rear. I understand the reasons and solutions to this. Here is the confusing part. When I turn to full left lock I get no rub, however under full right turn to lock, right tire rubs radius arm. I am a bit of a dummy, but can someone explain how I pulled Right tire in closer to radius arm. Truck tracks pretty straight. But obviously right tire is closer to radius arm than left tire is to left radius arm. An adjustable pan-hard rod would bring diff's back in alignment by shifting front diff left. Wouldn't this exaggerate rubbing problem of right wheel by also shifting it left. What am I missing? Is there originally less clearance between right wheel and rad arm, than compared to left stock?
