Default Lift?

I am looking to do a lift on my 01 Disco 2. It is a SE7 w/ air ride in the rear. What is the max lift I can put on this w/0 getting into drive line issues and ext brake lines? From what I have seen, it looks like 2". I am considering using a 2" riser for rear air and new springs with 2"lift in front....Ideas?

2" is solid and you don't have to worry about a thing.

Is price important for you? Old man emu and RTE both make some good stuff. I really enjoy my Terrafirma kit, Terrafirma is quite a bit less expensive but has held up just as well as my old OME kit.

How tall would you like to go? You can go to about 3.5"s if you buy the SLS spacer and height adjuster.
As for the brake lines, you can reroute the ABS line but if you are near 100,000 miles, I would suggest replaving the rubber brake hoses with stainless steel for saftey as well as better stopping power.
Don't forget to replace your steering stabilizer also and I recommend OME all the way.

I'm with Mike on this one. OME is the way to go. I did an SLS lift on my DII. If you want a comprehensive writeup on how to go through everything, I can send you a link to my blog post I did about it. I'll post that later, I'm on my phone at the moment.

An SLS lift is quite easy actually. I did a 2" on mine and it is perfect. If you go with the OME kit and OME shocks, you don't have to worry about your front drive shaft hitting the forward cross member, but you don't get as much articulation. I went full OME, but I'm getting shock mount lowering kits to gain articulation. And brake lines and adjusting the cross member isn't actually all that difficult.

If you stay at or below 3" you won't need to worry bout extended brake line, extended abs lines or extended driveshafts.
