Default Which Lift Kit?

I'm looking to add some lift to my '99 Disco II.

It will be used as a hunting rig and I can get anywhere I need to with the stock suspension but want to put a little bit bigger tires on and have a bit more off-road capability for the rocky terrain I frequent. I also really want to replace the squeaky old springs and shocks.

I want this lift to not require other mods....I don't want to replace drive shafts, gearing or anything else....just a bit more clearance and some cooler looks. It will be used on-road most of the time so smooothness of ride will be important. I'll be using 16" wheels and GVW will be within factory max.

What kits should I be looking at? I want to keep it simple. Thanks!

x2 that's what I would use. OME in particular since it looks/reads easy to install yourself.

2" OME...ARB is in Renton so you'll be "buying local" TerraFirma is much cheaper and popular in the UK, getting more and more popular here.

Both are easy to install, there are even some good videos produced by Lucky8 LLC that walk you through the install. I'm a novice at best and it took me a little more than 5 hours start to finish by myself.

Here's my Medium Duty 2" OME with 265/75's
