Default Lift Kit options

I am thinking of installing a lift kit in a few weeks. My two options are the Terrafirma 2 inch lift HD or the 2 inch lift MD. I was originally going buy the Heavy Duty package but I saw the Medium Duty was over a hundred dollars cheaper. Is the HD package worth the extra money or should I go with Medium Duty?

Go MD.
I've got TerraFirma HD springs on the front of my Disco so they wouldn't sag over time and I regret it getting them that stiff.
I have all the bumpers, rails, guards and winch but not rack and it still rides ROUGH on the HD springs.

I plan on getting bigger tires as well and I am afraid they will rub with with the MD while offloading.

How big a tire you going? I've got 265/75R16 tires and they don't rub.

I went with the HD because I knew I was going to get a heavy bumper and winch upfront. I didn't think the ride was too bad before I ot the bumper.

TF HD = oME MD

I did as much research as I could when considering what kind of driving I would be doing & equipment I’d be carrying to choose right springs & stiffness - I’m into ome HD - and I really feel now I need to try superHD.
I just had to try it personally. I don’t feel the ome HD are stiff to be honest. My truck is weighing maybe 7500lbs - It sees a lot of highway & some moderate to extreme crawling off road.

Ya I have a Britpart steel bumper and I will be installing a winch soon. I will also be putting a roof rack so my truck will be significantly heavier than stock. So would HD be the right move?

That's what I would do (again)

I have the TF MD lift on mine. I am running 276/65-18 KO2 (E load) and the ride is pretty stiff. I have the stock bumpers and no rack and the lift gave me 2.75" lift. If you go with the 3" lift you will need to get the brake and sensor extensions, especially for the back. My tires are 32" and they don't rub at all.

I think it's actually over 3 inches you need the extensions. The HD put's you at 3 and I don't have those issues
