AG- here's a list of the springs that TF sells, as you can see it's a +2" HD spring that nets a 3" lift, not sure why it's marketed like that but whatever. I was just trying to make a point that TF does not sell a marketed 3" lift.
Here's a quote from the website: TF027 Heavy load rear coil springs are designed to provide 2 inches of lift on heavily laden vehicles for commercial and expedition use. The TF027 fits the rear of Disco1, Disco2, Range Rover Classic, and Defender 90s carrying a constant load or additional equipment weighing more than 300kg.

Which is why you get more than 2" when not loaded down.

Eithhhherr wayyy haha,
The sliders weren't too much of a pain to install, just took a while. Essentially you need 5 things.
A lift, a corded/cordless drill that isn't too long in length, a pilot bit, and 2 "step" drill bits. Oh and beer of course!

I noticed on the TF HD kit when using stock bumpers it was close to 3", once laden with bumpers, winch, sliders, full armor, rack and misc crap in the back it was close to 2". That was part of the reason I swapped to RTE, even laden with the same stuff I still was 4"+ over stock height.

Thanks! Yeah I couldn't live without my 5D!

So I remeasured today in the shop, it's 21" and 21". Might still do the rear spring seats from a D1 for the extra departure angle.

Damn! Talk about a thread jack!

So, i decided to stay away from spacers and picked up (2) sets of 10mm isolators for the front springs from expedition exchange. I'm going to add the isolators a top and bottom of each front spring which will yield me apprx. .75" of lift. This should put me just about even w/ the rear. I'll post pics and measurements later.
