Default Lifter

Hey guys I'm replacing a lifter, do I need to bleed the new one before I install it. If so does any one have any instructions how.

your need to fill the new lifter with oil, your putting new liters on an old camshaft?

At your mileage, you should replace all the lifters and you can not drop new lifter on a old Rover cam, there will be too much wear and the new lifters will fail in a short period of time.
Why do you think you need just one lifter?
