Default lifting 03 d2 , stainless steel sliders

Ahoy, first post,
Im looking for some intel on lifting my 03 disc so I can plant some proper ORV shoes on her. I have the capacity to do my own machining/welding.

Will also be posting pics soon of the SWEET set of stainless steel sliders I built. And soon will be posting the stainless steel roof rack im building, and WAIT till you see the SS lamp fixtures im making for some high intensity ORV lamps. fixture size will be 1.375dia x 2.5" long......very unnoticable, till you fire them up!!!!!

but for now, lift guidence. can I simply space the stock springs up?
do I have to trick the shock mount?
do I HAVE to replace the shocks?
How much lift is enough ?

Replace the shocks AND springs, 2" is generally enough for most people.

Old Man Emu, Terrafirma, and RTE are all good companies with good products.

You will become more top heavy with spacers on top of your warn out coils over installing coils and shocks, so if you plan on playing hard go to coils and shocks.
