Light Duty vs. Medium Duty Suspension
Can someone tell me the difference between getting a light duty suspension and a medium duty suspension.
I am looking to get a kit that I will use on my daily driver D2. That will give a soft firm drive and will Not give me a ridiculous lifted look on my car.

the difference is the weight that you plan on putting on the vehicle. if you are not carrying around cargo or a winch bumper, roof rack anything else with weight then go with the light duty if you plan on stayin on the road and not weighing hte truck down with accesories or towing anything.

There is also a difference in the ride as well as there weight carrying ability.
I would never suggest installing a light duty suspension on a Disco, go with the OME med. duty kit offered at Lucky 8, best price around and also install a new steering stabilizer. Make sure you get the HD OME shocks not the light duty so you can control your slightly top heavy Disco.

Light Duty is not recommended for these trucks. Stay with Medium Duty at a minimum. To determine your needs read this page http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ome/indexsprings.php
