The light trio - with a twist
Last week I changed the rear brakes - yes I opened the bleeding valves before compressing the pistons.
Saturday I was pulling into a parking lot when the Rover (03 SE 41,000 miles) beeped and the TC, ABS, and BRAKE lights illuminated. I turned the truck off and when I re-started the lights did not return.
Sunday I did the front brakes. Changed the fluid to synthetic and bled the system twice.
Any thoughts? What should I tell the dealer when I bring it to them next (since it's under warranty)?

happened to me last week as well although i hadn't done anything to the brakes. they came on twice and after shutting off the engine they stayed off. touch wood havent been on since..mine is a 2003 se as well. although my wife did drive through some water before it happened. may have something to do with it.
Did you use factory pads? Don't tell the dealer you used syntheic fluid or the will blame your problems on that.
There is a good chance you just have a loose wheel sensor that may need to be pushed back into it's proper position.

My '99 did that once also. It was after an 8 hr drive including a traverse of the Sierras. Lights came on at a stop light. I shut it down, restarted, and no more lights. All seemed well. Unfortunately for me, there was actually more to come. It took about 2 months for them to come back on and stay on. This time I replaced all the brake pads (Kevlar back to stock, I have DBA slotted rotors), then had the code read (variable output from ABS sensor) and cleared. No sign of the lights for the past 6 months.
