In line thermostat mod
I remember seeing someone had a good guide for the inline thermostat mod. Seeing that ill have a new radiator, water pump, fan and fan clutch. I wanted to get the inline thermostat mod done as well.
if somebody knows the hoses etc part numbers and makes it would be much appreciated. 110f plus for the next week so im trying to spend as little time under the hood as possible fiddling around.
Im being dense and cant find working links to the mod.

I have been searching and everything leads back to broken links and pages on different sites that say nothing but general use a bmw hose, a thermostat housing.
This sites search engine isnt cooperating.
Dont feel like wasting the day reinventing the process at the auto store if someone knows the parts that work from a recent hands on account.
Thanks for the help though.

Found this in about 3 seconds.
Meizere inline thermostat housing
chevy v8 thermostat
lower radiator hose off a 2002 bmw 330
some type of bleeder valve in top hose, i used a 32mm from Glowshift
I used a dayco hose for the lower bit, can’t recall the PN. Search for Alex M, I found it in one of this posts..

i saw a VERY cool setup that had a thin flexible metal line coming off the upper hose but cannot find it again! looked really nice, and the extinct looks nice too.. I have to older original design and works great but here in south florida I do het some higher temps but not always.. without a/c never goes over 194 and generally hangs in the 185 range.. with a/c it really starts to rise up in stop signs into the 210 range...

I have the soft spring 180 in original configuration and it does pretty well to a point.
Normally 180 to 190 but once the daily temps here start hitting 110-115 daily Ac is deff required and my temps bounce from 185 ish driving to 210 at long lights.
Out at the lake/river when its 120, I have to hold the rpm high to keep under 200 210. But I feel it would keep rising.
Hoping a inline mod just kinda smooths out the temp swings.
My condenser fan motor, radiator, water pump, dorman fan, hayden severe duty fan clutch, coolant with water wetter will all be new once the rad and water pump show up.
All shrouds in place
If temps are still hitting 210 ill just live with it.
Orrr toss an auxiliary heater core in the heat loop with a fan on a temp switch somewhere.
Really need to stay cooler on super slow rocky type trails.
i like wheelin in summer.
