Drive Shafts would be pretty rusty I think plus the cost of shipment would be an issue.

I had this happened to me once; found 03 D2 with a steering wheel in a really nice condition. Removed an airbag easily, then removed the alignment bolt...and that steering wheel is not moving anywhere I even used a good amount of WD-40 but to no avail. I see some people have recommended hitting it with a rubber hammer, I might try that.

Same as lug nuts? I have 4 of them in decent shape.

No. These come in pairs and hang from your rear hitch

After switching to a set of solid lug nuts off of ebay I'll never go to the OEM two piece stuff again so I never even look for OEM lug nuts at junk yards.

Alternator wise 90% of the D1/D2's in my local pick n pull lots were running up until they were wrecked, or the drive shaft let loose & killed it. Which means you have a very good chance the alternator was fine. When at junk yards I only grab OEM. If it's got a refurb sticker I don't even bother with it.

Drive shaft wise unless it looks new or OEM it's a waste of time to pull it. You can grab a new one off Ebay for as little as 113.00 now so getting a used unknown drive shaft IMHO is a huge gamble.

03-04 SLABS Units are a nice grab as well as the 04 CDL (got one for 18.00 complete).

03-04 Air Box lids are delicate if ya don't baby em and are a pretty penny new so a good used one can be had for as little as 5.00 which is awesome.

Is the SLABS the one under the glove box? How much do junkyards charge for them usually?

Air Boxes are so fragile, true. The only ones I saw had damaged connections.

This maybe just a rumor but I heard that the factory land Rover truck nuts have a third ball. Can anybody confirm that?
Also I heard that they were made of solid brass and weigh about 40 lbs.
