Default Location of Tranny dipstick.

I'm sure its a dumb question, but if its under the hood, I can't find it. Or is there one at all? Anyone want to reply with a 'snide' remark may do so at will, I may deserve it, but its really hot where I live and I don't want to crawl under it right now and look for it if I don't have to. Thanks..

OK...here's a snide response...'It's right there in front by the head light fluid reservoir." LOL...sorry, couldn't resist...

AFAIK, the only way to check the tranny fluid is by crawling under...

You are going to have to look very hard because there is not one.
You check the tranny oil level at the fill up hole on the tranny itself, let the engine run in idle and when it is hot and you have a steady 1/4" stream flowing then it is full. The procedure is in the how tos.
