Default AC condenser

Heading to the garage to change out the AC condenser and change the coolant in the coolant system. The beers cold and its a beautiful night up here in the Maritimes! Wish me luck. I'll check in later to see if there's any pointers. Cheers.

Don't you just love all of the ducting? Seems like everything under the hood has ducts, heat shields, or vent tubes...

1 beer an hour makes for good work.

ya seems like there is always one more piece that has to come off. Anyway, pretty well done the condenser, just need a couple new o-rings tomorrow.
I drained the rad and or cooling system but there didn't seem to be a lot of coolant. There must be more in the engine I can get by taking a hose off the block or water pump, but that was some bad looking coolant in there. I am glad I changed it.
That's it for tonite, back at it in the mornin'.

So, just an update. Changed condenser, changed coolant and semi assembled. I went to buddys shop to charge the ac and we had a line leak by one of the body bolts. i ordered the line from AB and will try again. We are considerably more than 1 beer an hour tonight. i think i love my disco !

Did you bother to diagnose the problem or just throw parts at it. Because with some ac dye and a full charge you can see the problem before throwing parts at it.

yea, we dyed it and there was a major hole in the condenser. Swapped it out and dyed it again and found a small leak in a line.
